This past week, we let 2 of our Monarch butterflies go after watching them grow from the caterpillar stage.  In this picture, we are watching the butterfly drink sugar water with its proboscis.

The students enjoyed using the scan app on the iPads to check their answers about place value. 

Plant Lab

In science we are learning about the structure and function of plants.  In order to learn the parts of a flower, we dissected a lily and identified each part.
